Staffordshire Day Heritage Walk

Tuesday, May 2, 2017 - 09:45

To celebrate Staffordshire Day we are organising a heritage walk starting in Froghall. Steeped in heritage, the wooded Churnet Valley is also wonderful countryside in which to walk. The SPDTA have been contributing to the CVLLP project and so this walk is an ideal opportunity to share the resources resulting from our project.

Places on the walk are available to locals and visitors to the area. The walk will take most of the morning. We envisage Hetty's tea room being open on our return (at the time of writing Hetty's is still being renovated).

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Dogs are welcome.

Note on accessibility: the full walk will take footpaths that are not accessible to wheelchairs/buggies however we will set off along the canal towpath which is accessible so it is possible to enjoy a section of the route with us.

Please indicate if you are joining us by adding your details.
